Google review of Smile Tiger Coffee Roasters by Rebekah Kim
★★★★☆ “Lovely study space with cute decor! Lemon Oat square was good but the Chocolate Salted Caramel Latte didn’t taste like chocolate or salted caramel; just regular latte. Parking situation was difficult because there are like 10 spots and they are either max 15 min or 1 hour limits. Not good for people here to study for a while.”
Google review of Smile Tiger Coffee Roasters by Gagan Gogia
★★★★★ “Smile Tiger Coffee Roasters is a hidden gem! The coffee here is simply divine, boasting rich flavors and a perfect roast every time. But that’s not all – their sourdough toasts are a delightful accompaniment, offering a crunchy exterior with a soft, tangy interior that pairs flawlessly with their specialty brews. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to start your day or unwind in the afternoon. A must-visit for any coffee enthusiast!”″

★★★★★ “Excellent food, friendly and fast service, very comfortable and clean, good ambiance. Would recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a meal, a coffee or a quick snack in downtown Kitchener. Centrally located across from the main transit hub and close to several parking lots. It’s almost incidental that it’s a vegan cafe, but as a vegan myself it’s such a huge bonus to be able to eat somewhere with so many options. Will definitely return!”
Google review of Cafe Pyrus by Nishar Diwan (The Learning Chef)
★★★★☆ “Stumbled upon this place out of serendipity. I don’t review a place till its memory has lingered for more than a day in my head. But this place is very good. And it has FREE WIFI! Thank you. I ordered a flat white and the coffee was trop magnifique. It was well balanced. I suppose it has an entirely vegan food menu, with a few dairy items, like cheddar cheese and regular milk for your coffee. I order the breakfast club and it came with a chunky slice of warm tofu and tempeh. It is all biodegradable to-go containers. For the location the prices are worth it. Varied types of seating ranging from small families to single seaters for students scouring for free wifi and good coffee places.”

Google review of Coffee Culture Café & Eatery by Julia Song
★★★★★ “I had written a nice experience from last week, but after I revisited yesterday, I deleted my comments and am writing it again. I was surprised by the nice staff last week, but the owner who was working yesterday was the terrible person I had ever seen. The situation was we ordered our food and drinks and took a seat. The queue was long behind us. Our drinks and two of the orders were received. We waited for the other three orders. Meanwhile, we could see that the other customers who were after us received all their orders. After about 20 minutes of waiting, the owner came with one of the orders to us. I asked him why the other customers were served first, and he replied that they ordered simple foods that are not a problem at all to be served first. Whatever he is, an owner or a manager, he could just ask for a sorry for the delay, not a mean manner. He ruined our Saturday brunch what pissed me off. I lost my appetite and didn’t touch my food. I thought I found a nice Café to enjoy our usual weekend’s brunch, but I will never come back here. At least we can still go to the Boardwalk branch where the owner is friendly.”

★★★★★ “Visited this lovely little spot this past weekend. We were seated immediately but warned of a long wait, but told to trust that it would it would be worth it. We were served our coffee and juice order and waited maybe about 50 minutes, but when the food came it was delicious. We ordered a California hash bowl and bananas foster pancakes to split between 2 adults, and a kids chocolate chip pancake with bacon meal. Very tasty and filling and brought home a leftover pancake that warmed up well. They also gave us some of their homemade jam for the toast that was a tropical fruit blend. Would definitely visit again!”
